The Sacrament of Baptism

Becoming Sons and Daughters of God

Sacramental Preparation for infants and children under 7 years of age

We can’t wait to welcome your child into the life of Christ and our Church through Baptism. Jesus was baptized and taught his Apostles to do the same. Through Baptism we are freed from original sin and reborn as sons and daughters of God.

Rite of Baptism is the first step in the initiation of a Catholic. It is the gateway to the Holy Spirit and for all other sacraments. Our community welcomes our new family members. At the celebration of Baptism, we witness the love, dedication, and commitment of the parents and godparents.

Parents and Godparents are required to take a Baptism Preparation Class to help them understand the sacrament, the process, the liturgy, and the covenant you are entering into with God.
